Since forming in 2013, Pittsburgh pop-soul rockers The Telephone Line have been known for their signature powerhouse vocals and vintage organ vibes. The band’s passionate and eclectic style appeals to a diverse audience; Sound Scene Express calls the group “energetic and smooth” and praises their mixing of “soul and funk with well crafted pop songwriting.” Their 2017 single, “Caving In,” can currently be heard in rotation on WYEP, and their 2015 debut album Tied Up is available to purchase wherever fine MP3s are sold.
